Constraints
- Enterprise clinical-research workloads running across cloud and internal infrastructure.
- Security-by-design practices were needed for networking, encryption, IAM and hardened server baselines.
- International teams required dependable support, deployment and operations routines.
What I owned
- Planned and implemented AWS and Azure infrastructure for production workloads.
- Operated containerized applications on EKS and Docker, including patching, scaling and monitoring.
- Built delivery pipelines with AWS CodePipeline and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Managed Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, AWS CDK and Terraform.
Engineering decisions
- IAM, KMS encryption, network segmentation and hardened Linux operations.
- Serverless backend components on AWS Lambda.
- Identity and access administration through Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD.
- Second- and third-level support for distributed international teams.
Outcome
- Created repeatable infrastructure and delivery patterns across AWS and Azure production workloads.
- Improved the operability of container, identity and serverless components through documented automation and support practices.
